Yellowstone Regional Airport Terminal Expansion
As an experienced airport construction contractor in Cody, Groathouse Construction completed a 12,000 sf addition to the existing airport terminal, marking our second project with Yellowstone Regional Airport. Major components included:

A large extension to the baggage loading warehouse, with two new overhead doors, allowing for indoor loading and storage of equipment used to transfer baggage to the plane.

Relocation and re-design of the TSA baggage screening area, including installation of a new baggage conveyor belt system.

A large new waiting area with space for two new ticket counters, expanded seating, and two airline offices to support future growth.
Another component of this project involved renovating the existing TSA baggage screen area into a new hallway, now used as the entrance for airport offices and breakrooms. Additional work included extending the passenger screening area and completing a small renovation to the existing departure lounge, which now features an interior overhead door offering passengers partial access to the restaurant.
