Tippet Rise Art Center
This project consisted of 4 new buildings, with roughly 15,000 sf of new construction to expand the campus.
The largest building constructed on site is the Cirrus Building, this 2-story building includes administrative offices, a mastering suite and studio that includes post-production audio and video rooms, a reading room, a library that can accommodate 20,000 books, an art storage space and a mechanical room to serve the campus.
The other buildings constructed were the four Nimbus residences grouped in pairs to accommodate the artists on site, and a smaller separate practice facility. Site work on this project included pathways connecting the buildings on campus, new-geo thermal ground loops, potable and non-potable water systems, a sewer system and the construction of a free-standing solar system which is integrated into the existing campus power grid.
