Cody Regional Health – Central Sterile Renovations
This project involved an extensive renovation of an active hospital that remained fully operational throughout construction. Because patient care continued every day, our team worked closely with hospital staff to carefully phase each stage of the project and minimize disruptions.
- The third floor was renovated to relocate the Environmental Services (EVS) Department from its existing ground level location. This work also required new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems above the active OB Clinic on the floor below.
- In addition, our team installed new MEP routing to a mobile sterile unit outside the building. This ensured critical hospital services continued without interruption during construction.
- The project also included renovations to the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). Our team relocated a corridor and remodeled office and storage areas. At times, crews worked only a few feet from patients, making strict infection control procedures essential.
- Finally, we demolished the existing EVS Department and Central Sterile Unit before completing the spaces with new finishes. The result is a modernized facility that better supports hospital staff and patient care.
