Cody Regional Health – Central Sterile Renovations

This project was an extensive renovation to the active hospital. The facility remained operational during construction, which necessitated extensive coordination with hospital staff, as well as phasing to minimize disruption. Our scope of work included:

• The third-floor was renovated to relocate the Environmental Services (EVS) Department from their existing space on the ground level. This required new overhead mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work to be done in the active OB Clinic on floor below.
• Additional MEP routing to a mobile sterile unit outside of the building was required to ensure uninterrupted hospital functions.
• The Post-Anesthesia Care Unit was renovated, including the relocation of a corridor, and the remodel of office and storage space. At times our crews were working within feet of patients, making Infection Control procedures crucial.
• Last, the existing EVS space and the existing Central Sterile Unit were completely demolished and renovated with new finishes.
